Charges/ Rates
Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed, and the room may be reassigned. We will charge your credit card within 48 hours prior to your arrival. The hotel has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the Pre-Payment Deposit. Pre-Payment Deposit (1st night) is going to be charged to your card after your booking is complete. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after cancelling your booking. All guests must be 21 years or older to confirm guestroom accommodations at Iris Hotel. A valid photo ID must be presented at the time of check in for age verification.You can check-in any time from 3PM by local time. You can check-out any time up until 11AM by local time. Late check-out must be approved by the front desk, otherwise there will be a charge of 50% of a current nightly rate.
Smoking
In our entire hotel smoking is not allowed. You will be asked to sign a document that you agree to a 500$ fine if ANY evidence of smoking is found in the room or in any of the building areas such as window ledges, the lift, stairs or the entrance area near to the reception. Please note that we comply with the local health authority’s safety guidelines and recommendations.
Damage
You (The Guest) are financially responsible for any damage to the property. This includes losses caused by you (The Guest) or a any third-party negligent actions and behavior. The Guest is responsible for any damages or breakages found that are over and above normal wear and tear and usage.
Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported to the front desk immediately after registration to avoid responsibility and potential charges.
Accessible rooms
Sunbird Cape Cod Resort is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We offer accessible rooms within the hotel. Please ensure requests reach us by placing it in the comments section of the online reservation form, and/or by contacting us directly after the reservation has been made.
Personal Identity
As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number or presence of a guest to anyone other than authorities required by law. This includes the taking of or delivery of messages or indirect forwarding of phone calls. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from. Safety cameras are used throughout the premises, and anyone on our property may be recorded. The hotel assumes no responsibility for any personal bodily injury incurred while using the gym/fitness center facilities, where available. If you use the gym/fitness center facilities, you do so at your own risk.
Parking
Parking is complimentary for the guests of Sunbird Cape Cod Resort. Non-guest rate is 20$ per day. You are parking and leaving your vehicle at your own risk. Please lock all doors and windows after removing any property or valuables from the vehicle. The hotel will not, in any event, be liable for loss or damage to your vehicle or property.
Guest Behavior
Guests are required to conduct themselves properly at all times and to comply with our procedures and policies. Guests are also required not to disrupt the comfort of other guests, operation of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or our staff members. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation and services, and ask anyone to leave the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached.

Limitation of Liability/Force Majeure
Sunbird Cape Cod Resort will not be responsible for any loss or damage of valuables or money left in the Hotel.
Sunbird Cape Cod Resort will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss of any kind (whether caused by the negligence of the Hotel, its employees or otherwise).
Sunbird Cape Cod Resort total liability shall not exceed the value of the charges agreed for booking of your and your party’s stay. Sunbird Cape Cod Resortl accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, strikes, fire or failure of electric power, water, communications or other utility services, machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
